A Surprise Proposal in Valencia: Wout & Sanne

Sometimes a proposal doesn’t go quite as planned. 😉

Wout wanted to propose to Sanne on the beach. A beautiful idea, of course, with the sea in the background and Valencia as the setting.

But one day before the proposal, a fire broke out near the planned location. So unfortunately, the beach was no longer an option.

Time for Plan B!

From the beach to the Turia Gardens

We chose another beautiful location: the Jardín del Turia. There, we created a beautiful, romantic picnic setup with everything needed for a very special moment.

And honestly? It looked gorgeous. 😊

And then… the moment had arrived.

Wout got down on one knee…and Sanne said YES!

After all the excitement, it was time to enjoy the moment together. They headed into the centre of Valencia for a lovely drink and could finally relax and raise a glass to their engagement.

Sometimes Plan B isn’t so bad after all

This is exactly why, when planning special moments, we always think about what could happen if things don’t go according to plan.

Because you can plan everything down to the smallest detail, but sometimes life simply has other ideas.

And in the end, it’s not about having the perfect location.

It’s about the moment, the surprise and, of course, that big YES. ❤️
